For the past few weeks, Xiaomi has been busy releasing the MIUI 12 update for the second batch of devices supported by MIUI 12. However, it looks like the team is also working on updates to MIUI 12. based on Android 11 side by side.
The beta version of Android 11 is already available for the Pixel line and other compatible devices. A few Xiaomi devices have also been allowed to test the latest version of Android. According to a Mi fan with a large following on the Mi forum, Xiaomi is already testing the MIUI 12 Android 11 update on multiple devices. In addition to this, user Mi also claims to have an official list of eligible MIUI 12 Android 11 devices.
There has been no official announcement from the company, so we advise users to take this information with a grain of salt. That being said, he seems to be right on Xiaomi devices that are testing Android 11 internally, as many of them are under Google Beta Program.

User Mi claims that the first MIUI 12 Android 11 stable ROM is scheduled for September, but there is no way to confirm the information. However, we do know that the final version of Android 11 will arrive in September, so maybe Xiaomi is planning to jump on the bandwagon right away.
