Lisa Durupt Has Joined The Cast of Faith-Based Film “THE IMPOSSIBLE”
Actress Lisa Durupt has joined the cast of Fox 2000’s faith-based drama ‘The Impossible’

Produced by DeVon Franklin, The Impossible: The Miraculous Story of a Mother’s Faith and Her Child’s Resurrection, is based on the memoir by Joyce Smith.

The film follows the true story of 14-year-old John Smith (Marcel Ruiz, One Day at a Time), who fell into a freezing lake and was unresponsive for over an hour in the hospital, only to be revived through the prayers of his mother, Joyce Smith  (Chrissy Metz, This Is Us).

Lisa Durupt will portray Paula Noble, who was instrumental in organizing volunteer and community support for John Smith, while her husband, Pastor Jason Noble (Grace), remained by the teen’s side during a miraculous healing journey.

The actress – who is currently guest-starring on the eleventh season of Heartland on UPtv – is best-known for playing Andrea Todd in the Murder She Baked movie series for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. She previously co-starred in The Convenient GroomA Dream of ChristmasThe Perfect Catch and Operation Christmas for the Hallmark Channel and the film Preggoland alongside James Caan, Danny Trejo, and Sonja Bennett.

Lisa joins Topher Grace, Chrissy Metz, Mike Colter, Josh Lucas, and Marcel Ruiz.
