Line Thickness Variation Adds Interest & Texture in Abstract Drawing

By Abstractartbylt @artbylt

I began this abstract drawing with thicker lines using calligraphy pens, beginning with the greens and orange.  Then I used the narrower tip of the pen to draw some medium-thick black lines, and finally red and black fine-tipped pens for filling in some of the spaces with closely-spaced "doodles" for texture.  I also used a pale green brush pen to fill in some spaces.  The result is kind of wacky, but I like it.
