Linda Purl who plays Barbara Pelt (Debbie’s mother) in the upcoming True Blood season will star in the Rubicon Theatre’s production of The Diary of Anne Frank, featuring a new adaptation by playwright Wendy Kessleman. The production, which will be directed by James O’Neil, will open officially on March 10.
The show, based on Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett’s Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, tells the true story of a group of Jewish citizens who attempt to hide from the Nazis in an attic during World War II.
