Light to moderate migration in Arizona 5-3-2012

REGIONAL OVERVIEW

The Yuma radar is still down, leaving me with no information on the LCRV. The coast showed the heaviest migration last night with birds moving north out of San Diego. Inland areas showed much less.

ARIZONA

Yesterday the LCRV had a decent flight of passerines including thrushes, flycatchers, grosbeaks, and tanagers (Thanks to the crew and Tom Johnson for the info!). The Phoenix area showed light to moderate migration throughout much of the night, while southeast had light migration.

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

Birds seemed to be moving up the coast out of San Diego last night. There was nothing going on in terms of migration inland.
