Drag is truly all over the world! Belgium started those engines, serving their debut season with a familiar French Canadian face on the main-stage! Places really do have their own Drag personalities, busted and boozy that's what my Blackpool sure serves! Season 15 of RuPaul's Drag Race taught us how to walk that f**king duck! Those NJ queens of Omgele! Daddy Chill!
With previous Belgian Drag Race representation already in the franchise family, 'Sedergine', 'Vanessa Van Cartier', 'Inti' and 'Juriji De Klee' sure paved the way for the debut series of 'Drag Race Belgique!' Willow Pill had literally just won Season 14 of RuPaul's Drag Race in April 2022 and before we knew it, the catchphrase 'It's Chocolate' had not been for nothing! Sure, come to think of it, 'Rita Baga' had been announced for 'Canada's Drag Race: Canada Vs The World, Season 1'. That alien actress was about to be taking over our Drag Race screens a lot more, suspicions had been heightened when 'Jean-François Guevremont' posted some 'touristic' photos from his time in Belgium! Rita Baga followed in the footsteps of 'Brooke Lynn Hytes' and 'Nicky Doll' by becoming a judge on an international franchise after competing on their own series. We had to wait a hot minute from that 'It's Chocolate' announcement until Belgium's première saison found WOW's online platform, almost one year to be exact! Français, please??!!
10 queens walked into the Belgian 'Werk Room' with two of those queens proclaiming their 'Flemish' identify 'waffle first!' 'Brittany Von Bottoks' sashayed first with whispers surrounding the identity of their 'Drag Mother!' Chaotic? Yes! 'Amanda Tears' left the competition second with 'Edna Sorgelsen' following them third, this debut Belgique season was heating up! 'Mocha Bone' didn't make it through the acting challenge, those key 'waffle' and 'fries' references made me laugh! I was hungry! Flanders own 'Valenciaga' fell prey to the judges critiques, I loved their runway looks but they sashasyed away fourth. 'Peach' served pretty but that wouldn't save them! 'Mademoiselle Boop' missed the finale as they placed high but not high enough. In place of the usual 'Roast', I loved the 'political candidate speeches' but 'Mademoiselle Boop' didn't make the top! The finale served 'Belge Drag Greatness', 'Susan' took third place in the Race! 'Athena Sorgelikis' slayed runner-up Claiming the crown for 'Belgique' was 'Drag Couenne!' Frite Crew!
As an adult I have visited Blackpool twice, but during that second visit to that former Victorian seaside gem I saw a different side to this queen! Stepping off my 'National Express' coach near the 'promenade' allowed me to see the same 'Poundland Realness!' Discount stores she better don't! Doing the most, Blackpool pulled no punches unless things got messy, no pretense was served! None at all! The category was 'B&B for my life' and I didn't have any qualms with that single room situation! The only thing I needed that bed for would be to 'death drop' onto it after drinking the bar dry later that night and the next one! The Gays descend upon Blackpool because it's a 'safe space!' Present around the Northside of the town, those rainbow few weren't shy! The stories that I could tell! Don't get 'Funny', girl! Drag might well be a state of mind but 'Blackpool' served me 'Funny Girls' during that 2014 trip, I wanted to see another revue show! With life leaving me better, I knew that Blackpool would offer a tequila for me to down, Blacks!!!
Serving 'Seaside For Days', Blackpool's Victorian charm wasn't going to get lost on me! I took a stroll along the 'North Pier' as if it was my very own runway, I didn't need to strut because the dancefloor would require more of that skills set. Constantly in the bottom two, Blackpool keeps on proving itself to be a 'Champion' and a 'Forever Seaside Glamazon' with more lip-syncs for her life than even 'Mother' could ever proclaim! The dolls came out to play, sitting down to my Drag show experience at 'Sapphires' allowed me to see an interesting show! The budget didn't serve 'AllStars' but their commitment to their show shone through those snagged costumes! Don't be jealous of my Blackpool! No word of a lie, even 'Bargain Booze' had their own security on the door! Making mine a 'Blue WKD' before the show, I felt about 16 all over again! The flying what? Yes, 'The Flying Handbag' had been my favorite hangout during those weekend settings, serving a humble nature it was definitely worthy of 'Miss Congeniality!' Yes, Blackpool is Drag!
2023 was already going to be a sickeningly amazing year for me, so you already that 'RuPaul's Drag Race, Season 15' would be a whole mood for me! Watching it from China on WOW Plus wasn't no joke because coverage in that territory doesn't exist without the use of a certain 'proxy' altering service. That was some serious shade! 16 queens? Yes! I was not ready for that never-ending cast before the eliminations had even took place, no joke! No! Those Pandemic controls looked as if they had ceased because Ru and the rest of the judging panel weren't separated between perspex screens, keep it moving Mother! 'Ariana Grande' and 'Vivacious' both made appearances during that double episode debut, we were in for a great season regardless! Really? The move over to 'MTV' for the American audience landed us with a whole host of 60 minute snapshot episodes of 'Season 15' because a strategic deal with 'The Real Friends Of WeHo' dared to massacre our 90 minute bliss! WOW knew exactly what they were doing, it was not a mood!
That talent show had me gooped and gagged, skip the other 15 queens because no other queen will top what 'Anetra' served! That 'Las Vegas' based queen showed us how to walk that f**king duck with a full bodied duck walk extravaganza! 'Mistress Isabelle Brooks' entered a new 'era' each episode, I personally lived for her energy because she kept it real at all times! 'Salina EsTitties' brought a certain 'To Wong Foo' spirit with her 'Latin' drag and I for one loved her much! Hailing from no other than 'East Orange' in 'New Jersey', from day one I rooted for 'Luxx Noir London' because she served everything and more! 'Loosey LaDuca' needn't blame it on the edit, she stirred the pot as we all watched those 'Wigloose: The Rusical' casting moments! 'Kerri Colby' had introduced the family name but her Mother 'Sasha Colby' turned 'Season 15' upside down, Hawaiian Drag Royalty she did serve! Of course, I knew from day one that 'Sasha Colby' would be crowned as the winner, no justification needed! Drag matters, this season mattered!
Daddy Chill! Those unemployed home poured up nights-in had me scrolling YouTube for something to get life from, you already know that I couldn't stay away from this Omgele trolling video gold! This K-Pop obsessed duo have me in tears laughing each time with their razor sharp wit and no drama chat, there's no subject off limits! 'Tiffany Jade' became internet famous with a certain viral social media clip, 'Daddy Chill' became her catchphrase but she's much more than that! Joined by 'Natasha Lee', both of these unstoppable media personalities come together on their streams with no b*llshit, there's nothing regular about these 'chicks with a twist!' Calling out those perverted men who really should know better, they troll those sick individuals back! The internet really isn't safe with these two powerhouses of 'Realness' on their channels but if truth be told they keep such fools in check and more! These two won't shy away from throwing hands at haters, those online Omgele fights make me laugh! At the end of the day, I live! Daddy!
With their 'Party City' wigs and newer styles, both Tiffany and Natasha always have their Drag on point! Their dance breaks give me life, when they aren't checking the people of Omgele they are bopping along to 'Black Pink' like there's no tomorrow! Clocking people left, right and centre, I have no issue with the shade that these 'ladies with a difference' both serve because they are the guardians of that webcam site! No matter how many 'MAGA' idiots they encounter there's always a DL felon giving the most chat, Tiffany and Natasha are equal opportunities social media personalities. Both Tiffany and Natasha have their respected channels, live-streaming on Twitch and on other platforms with their own flavours. Like good sisters, these 'chicks with a twist' collaborate on each others channels, personally I love when they appear together. Especially when Tiffany and Natasha drink, well they both pour it up and keep it on a level! Without doubt, both Tiffany and Natasha give me life! Drag can be anything, regardless all forms are valid! Yes!
