We’re just gonna have a little chat today, hmm k? I feel like I should update you with what’s been going on in ma life so you know that it’s not all cupcakes and rainbows over here. That we all struggle in our own ways and deal with it differently. But I’m doing it! And despite the anxiety setbacks over the past few weeks, I’m keeping my eye on the prize. Moving HOME to Ohio.
I’ve sucked at the whole gym and eating healthy thing. I was doing SO well for awhile but I fell off the wagon in the beginning of May when all of the chaos started. I went to GA, got Shingles, went to NC, my intern was here, and then we found out we were moving 3 weeks early. I hate that I haven’t been doing my best and taking care of myself but right now, I’m just in survival mode. I know things will get back on track once we’re settled so I’m trying to cut myself some slack.
I’m a little burnt out in some areas of this bloglife. I feel like it’s become so cut throat and people are just SO damn competitive. I’ve always stayed true to myself and been honest when it comes to this space. And yes, I’ll admit, I sometimes get caught up in the games. Because this is my full-time job and I have to keep up with the changes and trends that come with this career. But the sense of community? I miss it.
The moving truck comes Friday and we’ll be starting to load it. Luckily we have some friends to help because with Z’s back, he’s not able to do much. We’ll be loading it all weekend and then it will be headed to storage until we can close on our house. Not the most ideal scenario but we have to roll with the punches on this one. We’ve always had movers and never dealt with moving ourselves so this has been an experience, that’s for sure lol.
