"A Sunday well spent brings a week of content." Eating
And she's back in the brunch game! Nothing primes a relaxed weekend better than a Saturday morning brunch. Shelley and I decided to go to Aberdeen Street Social at PMQ in Sheung Wan/Central to try their brunch menu. I've walked this place SO many times and am so glad I finally managed to stop by. I chose their Peking duck salad and conquered my fear of rocket - I'd highly recommend this dish if you visit, the duck was so soft, tender and juicy, with the perfect cucumber, lotus root and coriander accompaniments. Shelley went for a classic Eggs Benedict.
I had a sneaky flat white because it was drizzly outside and y'know...! Girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. We also treated ourselves to some pancakes! I feel less bad about this fact because I'm on a new 'no going out on week nights' plan ;) SO good although the Tahitian vanilla ice cream didn't really taste of anything...? Weird.

Going
The only notable things this week have been heading to Sheung Wan for brunch and to go to the Portobello Market pop-up, Causeway Bay for Sharon's birthday dinner and to a phone shop, bahaha. Actually I feel very rested and content with a slower leisure life, almost like I've managed to catch up with myself. Hong Kong has been gray and drizzly all weekend and it reminds me of home in a lazy Sunday sort of way. I've liked it.
Wearing
Hi I'm Michelle and I'm obsessed with cropped tops and maxi dusters. Yeah, so I've pretty much been living in this duster and sometimes my leather jacket. Kinda conscious that I won't be able to wear my leather jacket by next month so I'm trying to make the most out of it. Better snaps of this outfit coming tomorrow(?) if I up my productivity levels. I mean, right now I'm wearing pajamas and it's like 2:39pm... Also enjoying my white leather Converse again ^____~

Doing
Nothing! I've been feeling a little overwhelmed with everything lately, like I'm trying to cram too much in, so I'm making the most out of living alone and just cosying up in the evenings with a bowl of dinner, some Netflix and my scrapbook. I snapped this photo of a corner of my bedroom where I've stuck up some of my 1989 Polaroids, and I might switch those around tonight.
Also, I BOUGHT MY NEW PHONE! Hello my pretty baby Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge ♥ I am quite literally in love with you.
You can come and join me on Instagram and Snapchat to see more glimpses of my everyday life (: I'm @winyeemichelle on both platforms!
