If you've seen the Banksy documentary 'Exit Through The Gift Shop', you'll know this LA-based artist Thierry Guetta is aka Mr Brainwash. On Sunday 5 August Mr. Brainwash opened of his first European UK solo art show 'life is beautiful' in London at the Old Sorting Office. Its on until the 31st of August, so make sure you check it out. I went on the weekend and was very impressed with the free drinks, posters and Mr Brainwash was there signing and taking photos with his fans (I missed out by 5mins- DOH). His shows are always huge and controversial (the use of his copyrighted images has gotten him into some trouble over the years). So how many of the pieces are actually made by him? as like Daimen Hurst he is surrounded by a team of talented young artists, where he supposedly acts more like a supervisor of a team. Either way it's impressive and I enjoyed it so catch it if you can...
