A little while ago, I wrote about LG Door-in-Door refrigerator as I found its design quite interesting. And today, I'm back with yet another of LG's refrigerators. When open, it looks almost like a big cupboard with plenty of space. And indeed, it is big. LG is calling it "India's largest capacity refrigerator." It's big not just in size but also in price. Not something that can fit into every home and budget.
LG Side-by-Side refrigerator (GR-D34FBGHL) has unique Dual Door-in-Door design which makes available 1,001 litres of storage capacity. The Door-in-Door feature provides various separate compartments to make storing of food items more organized and convenient. It also helps in reducing the loss of air while opening the fridge by upto 43.7%. Just imagine how much of cool air would get lost if this huge fridge had only one big door. But instead, the Door-in-Door prevents this air loss as the user only needs to open one small door of the compartment where the food item is stored or to be kept.
The fridge is also equipped with LG's Inverter Linear Compressor which consumes less electricity and keeps the noise level low as well. As per LG's website, the compressor has 10 year warranty.
It also has LG's Hygiene Fresh technology that applies 5 layers of air filters for eradicating dust, bacteria and bad odours. This helps in keeping the food fresh for longer.
This is a premium refrigerator. So, of course, it has premium looks. It has world's first curved glass door covered with LG's signature honey-comb pattern embedded with real silver that gives a subtle luminous finish. The refrigerator has won the Reddot Award 2015 for its design.
As I stated earlier, this big 1,001 litre refrigerator has a big price tag too. It is priced at Rs 3,09,990 and can be purchased from select LG Brand shops across India.
