It seems that LG is finally rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OTA update to its G4 device in the European region, the LG G4 can now be updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow via over-the-air or via LG Bridge, a PC application that's made for the LG devices.

So, if you own a LG G4 device and live in Germany, Romania, Portugal, Hungary or Spain, then you should receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OTA update for your device, according to some reports, some users that live in the United Kingdom have reported that they've received the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OTA update for their G4 devices.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes with many new features such as Android Pay, Doze (an application that improves the battery life of your device), App Permissions and more. However, LG has also added some additional features to the latest Android build such as: Direct Share, Knock Code Settings, Silent Mode, improved auto-brightness and more.

Samsung Galaxy E7 To Receive The Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update In 2016

On the other hand, Samsung's Galaxy E7 will need to wait a bit longer until it will finally receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OTA update, according to a leaked document, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow is waiting to be approved for this device.

The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update will be released for the Galaxy E7 (SM-E700H model) in 2016, but we're not sure yet when exactly this will happen, hopefully, Samsung will come with more details about this before the Christmas holidays.

The Galaxy E7 was released in January 2015 with Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box. However, soon enough, the device was updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop and can now be updated to the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. Do you think that the Galaxy E7 will be updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in January 2016 or it will take longer until this device will receive the latest Android OS?
