I'm sitting at my computer while my class is in the gym practicing for the dance party tomorrow. It's nice to have a moment of quiet because Christmas isn't even here, and already I feel like I've had too much Christmas for just one girl.
Decorating.
Shopping.
Ordering.
Cooking.
Cleaning.
Wrapping.
Flying around.
My favorite Starbucks' mug says "let your heart be light" around the inside rim. I love drinking from it, and I love dwelling on it, because our hearts are supposed to be light. Not stressed.
I'm reminding myself, and in the process, you, to let your heart be light. Don't let the enemies of distraction, discouragement, doubt steal the Christmas joy from you. Let's not worry about what isn't done, what needs to be done, what feels like it never will be done.
