That’s one of my favorite terms, plucked from the original Gossip Girl novel by no other than Cecily von Ziegesar. By the by, if you’ve never read the books, go and do it now. I’ve probably reread mine about 5 times in the past 12 years.
I wore this little get-up for a Sunday spent with Sophia - shopping in the Central district, having afternoon tea at The Continental in Admiralty and laughing too much in general. I think I’ll share the tea in a separate post or we’ll get a bit photo heavy.
These Bardot-style tops are everything at the moment. Seriously can’t stop wearing them: they’re floaty enough to be manageable in the heat and the pretty sleeve lends a touch of arm warmth for the A/C. Perfect. I think I’ll be teaming them with suede A-line skirts and little laced-up boots come autumn. Aside from that, this is a fairly substandard Mish outfit, eh? Fell back in love with my heart print flatforms (last year Topshop!) on this day as well – 10 hours of city trekking in these!
