Let's All Go Down The Strand No.12 Stalking The Strand with camera and pen, David Tucker presents a few new angles on one of London's most famous thoroughfares…

Where the Wild Things Are
And this is pretty calming. Let's All Go Down The Strand No.12
Love it. It’s so modest. So simple. So unassuming. So plain. So honest-to-goodness (that brick, that London brick).
And yet – so beautiful.
I think they’re probably sunflowers. Or maybe just generic flowers. But it always puts me in mind of those two Wordsworth poems. The one about the dancing daffodils. And the She Dwelt Among the Untrodden Ways poem.
A violet by a mossy stone Half hidden from the eye.
Really hidden. There in the jungle of the Strand. Where the wild things are.
A London Walk costs £9 – £7 concession. To join a London Walk, simply meet your guide at the designated tube station at the appointed time. Details of all London Walks can be found at www.walks.com.
