Where
the Wild Things Are
And this is pretty calming.
Love it. It’s so modest. So simple. So
unassuming. So plain. So honest-to-goodness (that brick,
that London brick).
And yet – so beautiful.
I think they’re probably sunflowers. Or
maybe just generic flowers. But it
always puts me in mind of those two Wordsworth poems. The one about the dancing daffodils. And the She Dwelt Among the Untrodden Ways poem.

Half hidden from the eye.
Really hidden. There in the jungle of the
Strand. Where the wild things are.
