I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.

Albert Einstein

Heading into a another cold weekend here in New Hampshire.

We live in an older house that just can’t hold back temperatures like these. Which is why I sit at my computer, Bob-Cratchit-like huddled around an electric heater, wearing a writer’s shawl (made for me by another writer) and my fingerless gloves.

Right now I’m working on some magazine articles for the Spring and Summer and so while outside the temperatures continue to drop, in my mind, I’m focusing on the maple sap running, chickens grazing on lush lawns, and what boots are best for slogging through the thaw’s mud.

It always helps any circumstance to keep your eyes on the prize – warmth will eventually return.

Have a good weekend everyone, stay warm and safe.
