Lesson 942 – Why?

By Wendythomas @wendyenthomas

In our town we have a street called “Turkey Hill Road.” One guess as to why it was named that.

In some areas, concerned residents have even put up various plastic yellow “Turkey Crossing” signs near the paths where flocks tend to cross the road. Which, of course, opens our entire town up to a million “Why did the turkeys cross the road?” jokes.

No matter, because in the end, in our town, we definitely take our turkeys seriously.
