“It was warm enough to melt some of the snow this weekend, I suppose that’s something.“
Marc, last weekend
It’s been a busy week, what with our new Black Copper Marans chick; Violet and our older flock members stretching their winter wings in our yard (and in some cases our house – uh hum, Charlie.) Although we still have some snow, I see a bit of family raking time in our immediate future. (Did you hear that kids?)
Trevor goes to the final gymnastics meet of his career as he participates in the Regionals gymnastics meet on Saturday. It will signal the end of his 12 year gymnastics adventure. We all wish him well as he transitions to the next phase in his life.
My other little chicks, still recovering from their FIRST robotics competition trip to Washington DC, will no doubt, be doing a little bit of catching up with their sleep.
As for me, with spring in the air, I think I might just be doing a little bit of clearing out the winter cobwebs.

As always, happy weekend everyone, health and happiness (and safety) to your flock.
