Friday’s Quotes for the Chicks
I have a small collection of vintage Easter cards with chicks on them (always chicks, never chickens.) In the next few days, I’ll be highlighting some of them on my blog. For now, I present to you this little beauty. Apparently back in the good ‘ol day, having chicks with umbrellas and wearing boots was pretty par for the course.

In any event, animals wearing clothes and acting like humans appears to be a time honored way to celebrate any holiday, especially for nieces at Easter.
Another busy weekend with some pretty big milestones, Trevor has his second to last ever gymnastics meet before he ends the sport to enter the Army corps of cadets at Norwich. He’ll be competing in the NH State competition and if he does well, he’ll go on to the NE Regionals.
And my daughter, Addy, needs to find shoes to match her dress for the High School semi-formal.
Both equally big events in the life of a young person getting ready to leave the nest.
