What a fun-filled Mother’s Day.
On Sunday I drove to Norwich to bring one of our chicks home for the summer. Alas, with that trip ends all of my “Good Year” jokes – my only consolation is that he may be living in Dodge dorm again next year so at least I can take up where I left off with the “Get out of Dodge” jokes.

Bye Norwich, it’s been a good year.
On the way I took a quick detour to Kind Arthur (did you really expect anything else?) one of the happiest places on earth for a mom. Didn’t do too much damage, a bowl, a mug, and a new chicken apron.

We then came home to spend Mother’s day with the rest of the flock.
I checked in on these guys:

I spy with my little eye three babies’ eyes.
Took a few photos with our other newest arrivals:

And spent time with these very important members of our flock:

Yup, it was a Mother’s Day to remember – still smiling.
