Oh hey, guess what? It’s snowing.
Enough for a 2 hour school delay, but not enough to cancel school (as it is, it’s starting to look like the kids will be in school until mid-summer.)
If you look at our local forecast, the weather man is predicting *more* snow on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday of next week.
*sigh*
Here’s something you might not know. If the mail truck can’t drive up to your mailbox, you don’t get mail delivery. Sounds logical right? The only fly in the ointment is that if YOU CAN”T FIND YOUR DARN MAILBOX UNDER THE PLOWED SNOW PILES, it makes it a tiny bit difficult to dig the blessed thing out. And besides, like cleaning up the house, once the kids come home (in this case, another snow storm arrives) you’ve just got to start all over and clean up again. It’s a never-ending battle.
This is what they mean when they talk about a “cold day in hell.”
We seriously may not get our mail until the spring thaw, but I guess that’s okay. At this point I really don’t need to see all those spring catalogs with the flowers, cute little dresses, and hiking equipment anyway.
They would only make me cry.
