Leslie Johnson Verdict: 12 Months, 1 Day, 15K Fine

By Ceemac126 @PGCBlogging

That’s the sentence and that’s a wrap folks.  I don’t want to know how they’re doing in prison, when they’re released, or what their future endeavors are.  Like one of my readers said, it’s time to put the Jack and Leslie Johnson era behind us and go forward.  That is our choice – the residents of Prince George’s County have spoken.  Leslie Johnson Verdict: 12 months, 1 day, 15K fine

Both of them have offended me greatly by making excuses and lying, all and still for their own gain.  Leslie Johnson stated at her sentencing that she has been ridiculed.  Well Leslie, welcome to our world.  How do you think the rest of the residents felt having to endure this time with you?  How do you think we felt seeing you take the oath for County Council with Jack Johnson standing at your side?  You’ve been ridiculed?!

PU-LEAZE!!!!

The statements from Leslie Johnson at her sentencing are a lesson in narcissism and scapegoating.  According to Leslie Johnson, she knew nothing of Jack’s pay-for-play schemes and all that cash in the Johnson house was there for safe keeping.  Also, according to the Johnson team, Jack and Leslie had no joint accounts and weren’t always aware of each others finances.  Leslie Johnson went on to declare that she is a woman of  “integrity.”

Excuse me flight attendant, I’d like a barf bag.

Thankfully, before Leslie could further crash and burn, Judge Messitte took over and cleared the air with the truth, “What you did was in effect further you husband’s schemes.” “You were not an innocent spouse, you were a complicit spouse.”

Like I said about Jack, we will forgive the Johnsons but it’s all up to Jack and Leslie Johnson whether they’ll come clean about the way they have mistreated the county that trusted them.
