"Les Profs 2" is broadcast this evening on TF1. For the occasion, return on the reason why Christian Clavier was replaced by Didier Bourdon in the skin of the professor of mathematics.
With almost four million admissions, Les Profs was the biggest success for a French film in 2013. A sequel, Les Profs 2, was therefore quickly designed for a release in the summer of 2015. It knows, it too, a solid commercial success (3.5 million admissions).
This time, the worst teachers in France land in England for an ultra-secret mission. With Boulard (Kev Adams), the King of the dunces, they are parachuted into the best high school in the country and will apply their famous methods on the future elite of the nation ...

In this second opus, most of the main performers of the famous teachers from the first film are back. Thus, Pierre-François Martin-Laval, Isabelle Nanty, Arnaud Ducret, Stéfi Celma, Raymond Bouchard and Fred Tousch each find their character.

In the role of Serge Cutiro (nicknamed "Tirocu"), cool math teacher, Christian Clavier is missing. The reason ? At the same time, the actor is filming Babysitting 2 in Brazil. He is then replaced by Didier Bourdon, who plays this same protagonist.
Pierre-François Martin-Laval, however, confides that the character has evolved a little: "Didier Bourdon gives him a new ostensibly baba-cool dimension. The novelty also is that he is very often politically incorrect in his words and his attitude (...)."
Alice David, who plays Marie, the German teacher with whom Polochon falls in love in Les Profs, is also absent from this second part ... For the same reason as Christian Clavier, since the actress is also taken by the filming of the Babysitting suite!
But, unlike Cutiro, his character is simply deleted from Profs 2.
