This week has been a funny one - I've been crazy busy at work, but also have been quite productive as have joined my local gym (sigh), registered at a dentist, sorted some things out in the flat etc - all the things I've been meaning to do since moving to the area in June! Towards the end of the week I started to come down with a stinking cold however, and as a result my productivity levels have pretty much ground to a halt. I managed to stave off getting ill for four weeks of the new term though, so quite an achievement! Clearly I'm not cut out for full-time work! So, no face shots in these outfit snaps I'm afraid - it wasn't a particularly attractive day!

On Saturday, however, myself and pal Kat popped to London for a day of shopping and eating. Standard! We had a jolly old time, meeting at Harrods (I bought something rather lovely from the Chanel make up counter!) and then a mooch round shops in Knightsbridge. We went for a cuppa (and chips...!) in Harvey Nics which turned out to be almost as expensive as our dinner in Busaba. Doh! I realize this makes us sound like we live a life of luxury - I can assure you this is not the case!

After dinner we headed to Love and Liqour Kilburn to the PinkMothballs launch party - a great new phone app which allows you to share and borrow clothes with friends near you! The app has been created and designed by the very talented Amanda, which you can download here. The launch event was great; pick n mix sweets, cocktails and the most incredible cake - yes, that's it above! Still feeling like crap - in hindsight I should have probably stayed tucked up in bed on Saturday with a hot water bottle and a good book, but I am not one to turn down an opportunity to shop!
