LeEco is a fairly new name for the Indian smartphone market but is gaining a lot of traction with its quality devices at budget pricing. It is evident from the fact that LeEco sold 70,000 devices in just 2 seconds! In a photography event organised by the company, we found the camera quality of their devices to be really good. Now the company has announced the all new LeEco Le 2 and Le Max2 smartphones in India, and both the devices seem quite promising.
LeEco Le 2 is targetted at the budget audience and is launched in direct competition with Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. The smartphone looks super premium with its metal build and great finish. The front of the device is dominated by a 5.5-inch 1080p display that has a brightness of 500 nits. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EUI 5.8 on top. The dual-SIM smartphone supports 4G LTE and VoLTE, besides other connectivity options, and comes with USB Type-C Port.
The LeEco Le 2 runs on an octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor and is supported by Adreno 510. The 3 GB of LPDDR3 RAM manages multitasking, and the internal storage is of 32 GB with no option to expand it further. A 16 MP shooter sits on the back of the device and an 8 MP shooter is on the front. The phone comes with CDLA loss-less audio, Dolby Atmos, fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor. A 3000 mAh battery pack powers up the device and has support for fast charging.
Coming to the LeEco Le Max2, it is the flagship smartphone from the company with all the latest features and specifications. The Le Max2 comes with a design similar to the Le 2 but comes with a larger 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440. There are a few similarities between the Le Max2 and Le 2, like connectivity, OS and audio system. The upgrades include a beefier Snapdragon 820 processor along with 4/6 GB of RAM.

The rear camera has been upgraded to a 21 MP sensor with better optics and image output. The front camera remains to be the same at 8 MP. The battery capacity has gone up to 3100 mAh and this device too supports Quick Charge 3.0.
The company also launched the Lemall where their devices will be sold, along with other eCommerce websites. Both the devices come bundled with 1-year LeEco membership worth Rs 4900. The devices do not come with a 3.5mm headphone jack, and you will have rely on the USB Type-C port for connecting the headphone. An adapter is being provided bundled with the device.
The LeEco Le 2 has been priced at Rs. 11999, and the Le Max2 will start from Rs, 22999 for the base variant and Rs. 29999 for the higher end variant. You can grab the devices from Flipkart or the newly launched Lemall starting 20th of June and 28th of June respectively.
