Lead Gen, Content and Data: How to Hit It Out of the Park in 2014

Posted on the 07 January 2014 by Shellykramer @ShellyKramer

lead gen content dataAre lead generation, content marketing and a better use of data on your to do list for 2014? Do you like perfect weather and smart people? What about conferences that are not only packed with stuff you can use but which are also affordable? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of the foregoing, get registered immediately for the one-day Integrated Marketing Summit in San Diego.

The IMS event is the brainchild of my long-time friend, Shawn Elledge, and is the place for marketers and advertising pros in both B2B and B2C markets who need to get the down low on the key things they need to know, implement and execute well in order to help reach their goals. And we’re excited sponsor of the event this year, along with the folks at Social 123, Act-On, Alight Analytics, Outward Media, Acquire B2B and ITX.

I’ll admit to bias, since Shawn’s not only a friend, but we’re an event sponsor, but one of the things I’ve always liked about the IMS event is that unlike a lot of events out there it doesn’t cost a fortune to attend. The event itself costs $389 and if you want to participate in the workshop sessions the next day, you can do that for an additional fee that’s also really affordable. As a small business owner myself, I’m a huge fan of conferences that don’t break the bank and which also deliver great content. IMS delivers, both in value and in price.

In San Diego, we’ll hear sessions from Adobe’s Strategic Marketing Manager for Mobile, Ray Pun, Demand Gen insights from Cisco’s Joseph Puthussery and we’ll hear the always amazing Pam Didner from Intel talk about global integrated marketing. I got the chance to meet Pam at DemandCon in Boston this past year and her session was far and away one of the most popular. We’ll hear from Realtor.com’s Director of Social Media, Audie Chamberlain, learn about Conversion Insights from the SiteTurners’ Tim Ash and be wowed (as always) by IBM’s Michelle Killegrew, the Leads Strategy for Social. Where else are you going to hear this kind of content, from leading brands in both the B2B and the B2C space, for under $500? Rhetorical question – I already know the answer.

You can attend the one-day event on January 30th that also includes a networking event from 5:30-7:30 pm, which is free to the public. If you’re interested and able to stay around an additional day, you can also attend the special Workshop session the the following day. The Workshop agenda is as follows:

B2B Lead Generation, Nurturing, Qualification and Conversion
Presented by Mac MacIntosh, Acquire B2B

Content Marketing: How to Get it Right in 2014
Presented by Shelly Kramer, V3 Integrated Marketing

A Deep Dive Into Google Analytics and How to Make it Work for You
Presented by Matt Hertig, Alight Analytics

Landing Page Conversion & Optimization
Presented by Tim Ash, SiteTurners

The IMS team is on the road this year, with San Diego being the first stop. We’ll also be in Atlanta in March, Minneapolis in June, Cincinnati in July, Raleigh-Durham in August and Austin in November, so if you can’t make San Diego, hopefully we’ll see you in one of the other cities.

If you are interested in joining us in San Diego, I’ve got a present for you – a registration code discount that’ll save you 20%. When registering, simply use code: IMSGS20 and that’ll get you a 20% discount on all registration types. Also, be sure and join the IMS LinkedIn Group, where we’ll be giving away some free passes and registering folks for an iPad mini giveaway. I hope you’ll head to San Diego and join us – it’s sure to be a really great event. Plus? I would love to see you.
