Le 2 and Le Max 2 Launched in India, 6GB RAM Version Also Launched

Chinese smartphone company LeEco has launched 2 of its second generation devices in India. In a grand launch event in Delhi yesterday, LeEco announced Le 2 and Le Max 2 with an aggressive pricing. These phones will be exclusively sold through Flipkart and company’s e-commerce portal LeMall. Although we had already shared the pricing of Le 2 and Le Max 2, LeEco has also introduced a 4GB variant of Le Max 2 at Rs. 22,999. Both the devices will come with 1-year entertainment package bundled in.

Le 2 launch in India

Le 2 is an upgrade of LeEco successful Le 1s and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor and a Qualcomm Adreno 510 GPU. It comes with 32gb eMMC 5.1. inbuilt memory and 3 GB RAM and sports a 5.5 inches screen. This is the first smartphone to house the Snapdragon 652 processor in India. It has a 16MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front camera. For connectivity options, it comes with 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB Type-C, Dual-SIM support and a 3,000mAh battery to power the device.

LeEco Le Max 2
Le Max 2 is the flagship device of the company and it has been launched in 2 variants 4GB RAM along with 32 GB and a massive 6GB RAM with 64 GB internal storage .  It comes with a 5.7-inch QHD SuperRetina display with 1,440×2,560 pixels resolution and is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. 21MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera. It is powered by a 3,100 mAh battery, with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB Type-C as connectivity options. Both the Le 2 and the Le Max 2 use Sense ID 3D fingerprint technology.

With the launch of the second generation devices, LeEco became the first company to ditch 3.5 mm analog audio jack in favour of the new CDLA technology that enables end-to-end lossless digital music transmission, the world’s first continual digital lossless audio standard. LeEco has also unveiled Type-C CDLA Earphones which consumers can  be bought from LeMall at Rs 1,999.

LeEco also launched LeMall, its marketplace e-commerce website, the company has marked its venture into the e-commerce space in India. LeMall.com was first launched in Mainland China in 2013. Both Le 2 and the Le Max2 will be available on Flipkart and LeEco’s very own marketplace e-commerce website LeMall.com soon. LeMall is an important step in establishing LeEco’s footprint in India. It will serve as the primary channel for customers to engage with LeEco and become a part of the ecosystem through the products and services.
