Well, I’ve been wondering when we would start getting news of this year’s Record Store Day releases (happening on April 19th this year), and it’s officially started with the most excellent news that LCD Soundsystem will be releasing their final show from Madison Square Garden as the aptly titled 5-LP set The Long Goodbye: LCD Soundsystem Live at Madison Square Garden. The set will feature every note the band played that night, and will apparently will have a different mix (by frontman James Murphy) than what was heard in Shut Up And Play The Hits, the movie that documented that final show. Check out “All My Friends” from the movie below and if you miss out on the RSD release, don’t fret, the whole thing will be released digitally on May 20th.
