Lazy Day have shared new single ‘All the Time’ (available via the band’s own Weird Cool imprint). It follows last year’s ‘Real Feel’ single and ‘Letters’ EP and shows with Bloc Party, Girlpool and Jay Som.

Recorded at Church Studios with a women-led studio team, the song opens with jaggy Pavement-esque guitars and a bouncy Britpop bass line as Tilly sings about trying to rise above the things that were bringing her down (‘You keep on calling me. It’s not what I want, it’s not what I need. It puts me on edge because nothing can get through and you keep on calling me but I don’t want to talk to you’) before the jaunty chorus finds Tilly admitting she’s never felt this way – and declaring ‘it won’t go’ with incredible passion.
