Laurence Fishburne is making it official!
The actor filed for divorce from Gina Torres on Friday, Nov. 3rd after announcing split back in September.
The Black-ish actor filed in Los Angeles and listed their date of separation as October 14, 2016. Fishburne cites irreconcilable differences and seeks joint and physical custody of the couple’s 10-year-old daughter Delilah.
Days before confirming the split, Page Six reported that Torres was seen kissing another man.
Days later Torres confirmed she and Fishburne had split:
“With heavy hearts, Laurence and I quietly separated and began the dissolution of our marriage in the early fall of last year,” Torres said in the statement. “There are no bad guys here. Only a love story with a different ending than either one of us had expected.”
“Happily, our family remains intact and we will continue to raise our daughter with love and joy and awe. As well as raise each other up with respect and love and the continued understanding that we’re in this together, if not side by side,” the statement continued.
The couple were married in September 2002 in Upper Manhattan.
