Lauren Daigle, who is making history with the biggest sales week for a Christian music album in almost nine years according to Billboard. Her sophomore album “Look Up Child” debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart, and at No. 3 on Billboard’s prestigious Billboard 200 chart.
Describing the heart and story behind her sophomore full-length album, which is the follow-up to her acclaimed 2015 debut How Can It Be, Daigle says it has been in the works for quite some time, but that she is extremely thrilled about the result.
“The studio has become my companion as I have poured all that I can into what is now a body of work I deeply treasure,” she says. “From soaring melodies to reggae jive, from sweeping orchestral ballads to back beat vibe, Look Up Child has transcribed the pulse of my veins to musical form. I cannot be more excited for you to hear it.”
