I do enjoy a love story by the seaside, especially when it involves tables of driftwood, shells and succulents all decorated by the brides Nana (what a superstar!) Today's wedding took place in Ngawi, a little holiday place found right at the very bottom of the north island, and was all beautifully captured by Nicole Marsden Photography. Oh and how about those shoes! Enjoy!

We meet when were 15 through mutual friends.
Latasha: I love that he can make me laugh even when I am angry or upset.
Tannant: I love that she is patient and understanding.
Simple, elegant and classy
There were no big splurge items really we both wanted it to be kept simple and affordable.
We did save alot by doing a few things ourselves.
Our DIY was very simple.
Collecting things off the beach ie drift wood, shells and pussy willows | Collecting Bombay Sapphire bottles for the water on the tables | Collecting Tezza bottles for the cocktails at the ceremony | We used Succulents out of gardens to decorate the tables | The groomsmen laid big bits of Drift wood as the aisle
Hindsight is a great thing. I don't think we would have gone without anything but we do regret not having a videographer. The day and ceremony goes so quickly we wish we did splurge so we could have had a video to show our children one day and to re watch it ourselves.
Well Tannant says don't argue about the small stuff. And I say stick together and don't let other people's opinions sway your decision of what you both really want.
It's funny I thought we would have quite different ideas for our wedding but turns out we were both on the same track, me more attentive to detail of course.
We haven't been on a honeymoon yet but we plan to double it up with our 30 th 's next year and go somewhere overseas.
Latasha: It is hard to explain but it is a really nice feeling. A fulfilled feeling.
Tannant: It's good great feeling and knowing she will be an amazing mum to our children one day.
