Lanka IOC Suspends Sri Lanka Fuel Token System

Lanka IOC PLC has decided to do away with the fuel token system. Lanka IOC is Sri Lanka’s main listed energy company, bringing energy to life for the whole nation.

“It started off well but we received many complaints on all the fronts, probably because the effectiveness of the system could not be ensured. So we were left with no option but to discontinue it,” Manoj Gupta, MD of Lanka IOC said.
