Story: Lamborghini starts in the aftermath of World War II, a young Ferruccio Lamborghini (Reggiani) returns home. he starts dreaming of making something useful, stepping up to create tractors for the local farmers. He is known to look after his employees and produce quality products.

In 1963, Ferruccio (Grillo) decides he wants to challenge Enzo Ferrari’s (Byrne) cars. This sees him challenging his team to produce a car, while his ideas would offer better handling for the model he wants to produce.

Verdict on Lamborghini

Lamborghini is a drama exploring the life of Ferruccio Lamborghini. From his dreams after the war, to when he went on to challenge Enzo Ferrari with the best sports car. Wanting to prove himself as one of the greatest engineers of all time.

This is an interesting look at the challenges he looked to overcome. Seeing how different problems came up along the way. Getting to explore how the car manufacturing business was handled during the 50s and 60s. He was a smart businessman with a huge ambition to challenge the very best.

Unfortunately, the movie doesn’t put enough spotlight on the actual cars, more on the man behind them. Unlike ‘La Mans 66’ following the battle to become the best, not enough seems to be focused on the battle, with most using a phone call will fix the problem. Taking nothing away from the performances. Frank Grillo in the leading role does a great job throughout the film.

Where to Watch: Signature Entertainment presents Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend on Digital Platforms on 21st November

Final Thoughts Lamborghini is an interesting look at one of the greatest minds in the car manufacturing business.
