Just because I said ladies, that does not mean men cannot frequent this place but it is more of our type, if you know what I mean?
After freshly getting my navel pierced with an extremely hungry friend, we decided to go somewhere new and try something fun. By fun she meant picking her favorite- a Pizza and me, I was craving, waffles and that was all I wanted to have since I just finished my lunch review before that, next level gluttony.
Once inside, we were beyond impressed with their chic fashion magazine kind of decor, we almost expected them to start with a shoot or something. The walls filled with covergirl posters, a pink piano seated near the entrance, a paid-telephone hung on the wall, the seating arrangement modern and elegant and a counter displaying their desserts, this was perfect for our “besties” date.
But this wasn’t enough, we had to be impressed by the food too. What they have is a not so interesting mix of Thai, Continental, Lebanese, Italian, pretty much everything, a little confusing. (I swear I read Biryani too somewhere in the menu)
In about 15 minutes, a pretty long time, our orders reached us. Aashna ordered a Hiccup Pizza which had spicy vegetables with garlic and tomatoes, the pizza was thin crust yet soft which we loved but the intriguing name of the pizza and its reality didn’t really impress us.
But that was all forgotten when my Belgian Waffles arrived. Lovely crisp waffle, lathered with nutella and served with vanilla ice-cream, almonds and strawberry, could there be anything better to nurse a painful piercing? Kidding. We loved it, but that could also because I genuinely do love waffles without being too picky about it.
That was it, a short review, maybe I will be back there soon for something more elaborate.
Till then. Keep inching towards that perfect pout!
