After spending ages (literally hours) trying to choose something I finally decided on these gorgeous lace up ankle boots.
I tend to wear ankle boots a lot, particularly during the day but I usually go for flat ones for comfort purposes. Obviously the boots I chose have a heel but it's a relatively low 9cm heel and I thought something different and a little out of my comfort zone would make a nice change.
The boots are by Mademoiselle R and originally cost £99 but are currently on sale on the La Redoute website for £59.40. As well as the black color you can pick them up in a rather attractive taupe shade.
Despite the quite narrow tapered heel the boots are really comfortable and can be both casual or dressed up for a night out.
Having previous bought clothing from La Redoute before I know that their clothes are stylish, chic and affordable. La Redoute’s Mademoiselle R brand had a variety of pieces including a classic breton top and French inspired summer dresses.
The boots are true to size and despite the fact my feet are slightly wide The boots fit perfectly without any nipping or pinching.
I love these boots. They're funky and unusual but still comfortable enough for an aging Mother!
