I've been wanting to get my hands on L'Occitanes Marvellous Flowers Gift Set ever since I went along to the Beauty Event last month (see post here) and was hoping it would be under the tree this Christmas. As you can imagine I was delighted to find this buried amongst my presents on Christmas day along with plenty of other much loved gifts. As all of L'occitanes products are, the gift box was beautifully presented, with the products inside cuddled by a pink stamped tissue paper and sealed with a gold label. All the products are available to purchase separate and are not just available as a gift set. My favorite product is the Marvellous Flowers Eau de Toilette 75ml. If your anything like me, a sweet smelling floral fragrance is what I look for, particularly for Spring/Summer. An important factor when I choose my fragrances is I tend to look for something light and not too heavy and over powering. This perfume ticks the boxes for being incredibly light and having a fresh and sweet smelling fragrance. I'm also a sucker when it comes to the design of the perfume bottle. Of course they need to look good but also be easy to use. I particularly like this clear retro/vintage cut glass design and the gold detail of the lid. The gift set also included a luxurious shower gel, a hand cream, and a bar of soap. I particularly like the L'Occitane hand creams (see post here) for their lightness and silky soft texture. See their website here.
This week has consisted of many festivities with friends and family, a lot of food and alcohol has been consumed, and is still being consumed, and I am in desperate need of a day of doing nothing. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to the New Year. What does everyone have planned?
