Kuato are an instrumental post-rock band drawing on influences from artists like Mogwai and Russian Circles. Whilst it is very easy for post-rock to become formulaic and generic, Kuato manage to push beyond this and create soaring music that builds wonderfully. However, what really draws you into this music is the emotion. Whilst anyone can play an instrument, few can play with power and conviction enough to really make you feel, especially when it comes to instrumental music.
