NBC announced yesterday that it will be airing a special entitled Why We Heart Vampires on Friday November 1, 2013. According to the press release Kristin Bauer and Carrie Preston, who play Pamela Sywnford de Beaufort and Arlene Fowler respectively will be taking part in it.
The special will be a mix of interviews and fun clips with people such as Anne Rice, Elvira, and of course our True Blood cast members. It is set to explore just why vampires are as popular as they are and why that popularity has endured.
Why We Heart Vampires will kick off NBC’s vampire friendly Friday programming followed by Grimm and its newest show Dracula.
