Naijaparry understands that the incident happened at Anyigba in Dekina local government area of the Confluence State.
It was learned that the two pressmen were on election duty when they were attacked by the hoodlums at Unity Roundabout, close to Kogi State University.
In the meantime, Commissioner of police in the state, Akeem Busari, said reinforcements had been sent to Anyigba to bring the situation under control.
