While enjoying lunch one day in Koblenz, I spotted a small menu card on the table offering Kloster Andech – Anderchser Bergbock. It was not on the main beer list of the menu, so I thought it must be something a bit special. Not wanting to miss a beer treat i ordered a 33cl glass. Yes I know 33cl is a small measure but this beer rocks in at 7%.
On the palate is was malty and semi-sweet with a slight note of apricots and fresh herbs. Very good overall balance with texture and flavor.
