I don't know how it slipped by me that February is cat appreciation month, but this gorgeous, super cool, cat lover sweater did not slip by me. Designed by country music star Kellie Pickler and fashionista Geren Ford, this limited edition sweater is being sponsored by Fresh Step, the kitty litter company. And there are a few ways you can help homeless animals by buying it or even just getting on the virtual catwalk with it on.
First, for the month of February, you can purchase the heather-colored, green-sequinned tunic sweater, the Kitty Crooner at the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) website. It costs a mere $35 while supplies last. All proceeds, not just profits, will be used as donations.
Additionally, Fresh Step will donate $1.00, up to $100,000, for everyone who uses its special digital interface to don the sweater on a Facebook photo of themselves. You can do this without spending any money and have fun doing it.
