Kingsbarns Distillery launches Single Malt
We joined friends of Kingsbarns Distillery, as they toasted the launch of their first flagship expression: Kingsbarns 'Dream to Dram'.
Named as such to mark the Wemyss family's vision to bring malt whisky distilling to their Fife home. We got to meet members of the Wemyss family as well as staff who have helped develop and make the whisky.
So what's it like? It's a light and clean whisky, I think (I'm not an expert!) so ideally suited to those starting out their whisky journey, or those who would like to do more than nurse the one dram all night. It's a sweet, fruity whisky which has been matured In bourbon casks from Kentucky.
Dream to Dram is bottled at 70cl with ABV of 46% and an RRP of £44.95.
