Kind Heaven In Las Vegas - What Is It, and Is It Actually Coming?

Kind Heaven is one of the most highly-anticipated attractions to note in Las Vegas. But it is uncertain as to whether or not it will come about. It would be one of the most unique features in the city if it were to open.

The General Concept

Kind Heaven is an attraction that would be at the Promenade at the Linq, a Caesars-operated casino on the Strip. The experience is being promoted as a highly immersive environment.

Kind Heaven is a site heavily inspired by Southeast Asian culture. The immersive attraction would be a five-story site that features an environment with a full forest temple and nature sanctuary. There would be a few street corner and city environments with a street food vendor and fashion stores. The site would be a simulation of the environments of Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok, and other intriguing parts of Southeast Asia.

The attraction was created by Perry Farrell, the lead singer of the alternative rock band Jane's Addiction. He is also the founder of the Lollapalooza music festival. Farrell worked alongside film producer Cary Granat and special effects expert Ed Jones to produce Kind Heaven.

Kind Heaven's price tag is listed at $100 million. The site would be about 100,000 square feet.

Is It Happening?

The description of Kind Heaven makes it one of the most intriguing things to come to Las Vegas in years. But there are concerns about when it will open, or even if it will open at all.

In May 2019, it was announced that Kind Heaven's opening would be pushed back to the spring of 2020. The concern came due to construction delays at the Linq Promenade.

The report was according to a statement made to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Kind Heaven's original opening date was to be in August 2019.

But in October 2019, there were rumours that the Kind Heaven project was cancelled altogether. There were reports that the merger between Caesars Entertainment and Eldorado Resorts was going to result in the cancellation of a few Caesars-related projects, including Kind Heaven.

There have been no further updates on Kind Heaven in recent months. The official website for the Linq still has a listing for Kind Heaven as one of the things people can do at the Linq Promenade. The official Kind Heaven website is still online at kindheaven.com.

Perry Farrell has been talking about the attraction during the past year. He also recorded a new album called Kind Heaven and toured with his backing band, the "Kind Heaven Orchestra." His tour featured a full environment experience featuring dinner activities, improvisational actors, and other features.

The Linq Today

Whether or not Kind Heaven will open at the Linq is unclear. But the Linq Promenade continues to have many features for people to enjoy. These include the O'Shea's Irish-themed casino, the VR Adventures virtual reality attraction, the High Roller observation wheel, and Jimmy Kimmel's Comedy Club. Kind Heaven still appears as something that will come soon on the Promenade website at caesars.com/linq/promenade.
