In the hall where the statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, a floral basket was placed at the statues in the name of Kim Jong Un. Separate floral baskets were also placed “in the joint name of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the Workers’ Party of Korea, the SAC, the Presidium of the SPA, and the Cabinet. Kim Jong Un and other officials “paid high tribute to the great leaders before their statues.”
In the “hall of immortality where Kim Il Sung lies in state”, Kim Jong Un and the other officials “made New Year greetings to Kim Il Sung in humblest reverence.” He then “went round the room where orders Kim Il Sung received are on display.”
