DPRK state media reported on November 23 (Monday) that Kim Jong Un (Kim Cho’ng-u’n) visited the August 25 Fishery Station subordinate to Korean People’s Army [KPA] Unit #313.  In attendance were Jo Yong Won (deputy director of the Workers’ Party of Korea [WPK] Finance and Accounting Department), Lt. Gen. Jo Nam Jin (deputy director of the KPA General Political Department and director of the KPA Organization Department) and Han Kwang Sang (immediate past director of the WPK Finance and Accounting Department).

Before looking at mosaic icon of KIS and KJI and touring the station’s revolutionary history room and the fishery station’s historical exhibitions, Jong Un noted “with pleasure that the fishery station has been face-lifted radically as befitting the home of making the history of big fish haul and of Tanp’ung fishing boats.”  According to KCNA he said that “officials and employees of the station should always cherish the noble intention of the great leaders and realize their lifetime desire by catching more fishes for the servicepersons and civilians.”
