Killian Hayes made his professional basketball debut with the Cholet basketball team when he was 16 years old on 21 October 2017. He played his professional game against the Betclic Elite team Nanterre 92. With the final scoreline of 77-80, Killian Hayes lost his first professional game for the Cholet Basketball team.

In February 2018, Killian Hayes played in the Basketball Without Borders tournament during the NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles.

Killian Hayes signed his first professional contract with Cholet. It was a three-year contract that he signed in 2018-19.

He just played a single season with Cholet but he didn’t play the maximum of the games because of his toe injuries.

He went to Germany and signed with the club Ratiopharm Ulm in 2019 which competed in the Basketball Bundesliga. His second professional contract was also a three-year contract.

He made his debut for Ulm on 24 September 2019 against Rasta Vechta where he scored 15 points, had 6 rebounds, and 6 assists.

Killian Hayes played his first Euro Cup game against Virtus Bologna on 2 October 2019. He scored 8 points, had nine assists, and made 3 steals but unfortunately, they lost the game 79-92.
