The drawstring on your child's pants or jacket may be a danger. The Consumer Product Safety Commission voted this month to make certain children's clothing with drawstrings considered a substantial product hazard. The CPSC has the power to issue product recalls and limit which products enter the U.S. The CPSC has received 26 reports of children dying when drawstrings got entangled with another object and caused strangulation.
