Kevin Spacey (House of Cards) will pursue his political career with his new role playing Winston Churchill in “Captain of the Gate” at Sierra/Affinity and StudioCanal.
Churchill was the U.K. prime minister from 1940-1945 and 1951-1955, and considered one of the greatest wartime leaders of the 20th century. 20 million USD-budget film showcases his rise to power as he stood against parliament to defend Britain and the world from the Third Reich.
