This significantly reduces the environmental footprint.

You may have heard you can’t use regular coffee pods with a Keurig 2.0 coffee maker, well it was true when the Keurig 2.0 models first came to the market.

That’s no longer an issue. Almost all the coffee pods companies make readable coffee pods these days.

The Keurig K200 model is a budget-friendly single-serve coffee maker. It’s also one of the smallest coffee makers from Keurig. Yes, it’s made with plastic but it’s not a low-quality coffee maker. Despite the low price, the K200 has a lot to offer.

It has two brewing options, regular and strong brew. With the Keurig 2.0 K200 coffee maker you can now brew a stronger 10-oz cup of coffee. It also has a feature that allows brewing a full carafe.

Although it is full of features, it’s not complicated to operate. It can brew a seven-inch tall cup within 5 minutes.

With the help of reusable k-cups, you can now use your own coffee grounds. Note that the aftermarket reusable k-cups can cost extra.

The K200 can brew 4,6,8 and 10-ounce cups. Most of the users are pleased with K200 so that’s a good sign.

What is the difference between Keurig K200 and Keurig K200 plus series?

They are both the same coffee makers except, all the plus series coffee makers have temperature control choices. This means you can manually set temperature. But there are no precise instructions about how to do that.

Pros:

  • Compact in size
  • Single-serve with 9 different brewing options
  • Budget-friendly
  • Easy to operate
  • Multiple color options

Cons:

  • Should be used with specific k-cups
  • Absence of auto shutoff
  • Preset temperatures

Many Keurig 2.0 series coffee machines were discontinued, but the Keurig 2.0 K250 is still here because of its performance, reasonable price and build quality. We figured users love this small little yet beautiful looking machine.

It is a suitable small household machine, especially suitable for single and small family homes. It may also be suitable for small offices.

Like Keurig k200 the Keurig k250 is also a single-serve coffee maker. It comes with 4 k-pods, two water filters, and a water filter handle. Keurig is generous to include a bottle of descaling solution. This helps prolong the life of your k250.

Although you can get a 30 ounces k-carafe and brew large quantity it would not be ideal to prepare large quantities of coffee.

The K250 comes with a large 40oz water reservoir allowing you to brew 4+ cups of coffee at a time. The removable water reservoir makes it easy to refill and clean. Which in my opinion is great.

Not sure why but I kind of love the black and white touch screen. I find colored screens (especially blue) annoying.

The Keurig 2.0 K250 can brew multiple sizes using the k-carafe (22, 26, 30ounces), and multiple brew sizes (4, 6, 8, 10 ounces) using multiple k-pod brew sizes.

It comes with 2 brew strengths. If stronger coffee is your thing, you should select bold. The machine comes with multiple color options, bring colors to your kitchen!

It’s a small machine. It’s only 13.7 inches tall. Wherever you place it, make sure you have an additional 2 inches of empty space above the machine to be able to lift the lid. Space is needed to be able to insert the K-Cups. It has a base of 9 x 15-inches. Weight is 7.5 lbs.

The water tank is removable which holds about 40 ounces of liquid, giving you an average of 3 large cups of coffee. Although filters are included, the manufacturer recommends that you should use filtered water to get the best results.

This machine offers an excellent selection of coffee in terms of flavor and strength. You can choose the size and strength of the flavor of your coffee. Remember that the temperature is preset by the machine.

The adjustable drip tray of Keurig K250 Plus lets you brew your coffee using 7 inches tall cups. Now you can use that travel cup laying around.

You don’t just make coffee; You can make tea and hot chocolate. You can take hot water anytime you want.

Pros:

  • Cups of flavored coffee
  • Many color options
  • Easy to use, newbie-friendly
  • Slim design takes less counter space
  • Multiple brewing strength
  • Makes great coffee
  • Reusable k-cups

Cons:

  • Short power cable
  • A bit expensive
  1. Keurig 2.0 K300 coffee maker (Discontinued)

I have got the Keurig 2.0 K300 from Amazon a few years ago. I have had another Keurig 2.0 coffee maker before that and was happy. It’s a beautiful machine to look at. Looks beautiful on our kitchen.

The Keurig 2.0 k300 features Keurigs revolutionary 2.0 brewing technology. It reads the lid of the k-cup pods. It reads the k-carafe pods too. This helps brew the perfect cups of coffee every time.

There are over 500 varieties of k-cup pods to choose from.

You can reprogram the controls allowing you to customize your brew, brew time and flavor. You can even control the brew strength of your coffee. The customizable settings allow you to brew hot cocoa, chai and mocha coffee.

While it lasted, it could brew a full carafe or a single cup of coffee, based on your wish. It’s pretty easy to use, just fill up the water tank with water, insert Keurig 2.0 k-cup, tap your desired brewing option from the touch screen and you’re all set.

Select a single cup or a full Keurig carafe (4-10oz), wait a few minutes and you’re going to receive a delicious cup of coffee.

Although it’s a plastic build, the build quality looked solid. The touch screen display is black and white. The water tank is 60oz which is plenty big for a small house hold.

The Keurig 2.0 carafe is designed especially for the 2.0 Keurig models. These K-carafe coffee pods brew exactly 5 cups of delicious coffee. The Keurig 2.0 carafe includes a sensor which pretty much tells the Keurig 2.0 coffee maker when it’s almost full and when to stop pouring or if it’s placed properly.

Some of the Keurig 2.0 users had suggested to get the reusable kcups and fill with your own ground coffee.

If you don’t like the idea of K-cups, well all the flavors the k-cups come with, you simply can’t ignore trying.

Pros:

  • Ability to control brew strength
  • Touch screen
  • Programmable options
  • Brews flavorful coffee
  • Easy to use

Cons:

  • Discontinued
  • Only takes Keurig 2.0 k-pods
  1.  Keurig 2.0 K350 coffee maker

Keurig 2.0 K350 is a simple to operate coffee machine. You can brew from single cup to a 4 cup carafe fast only with a touch of a button. The 2.0 Keurig coffee maker comes with the revolutionary 2.0 brewing technology which (we all know that already) means the K350 reads the lid of the k-cups or k-carafe pod and brews flavorful coffee.

The coffee maker also includes settings to brew hot cocoa, chai and mochas like the Keurig k300 model. The easy to use programmable panel lets you manually set the strength of the coffee brewed. It over 400 choices of coffee, tea and hot beverages. Not only that it also includes settings for iced beverages! Now that’s something cannot be found in a lot of other coffee makers.

The water tank is 60oz and the brewer includes a 2.4 inch black and white touch display. While it may be useful, I kind of find it annoying to constantly select different brew types. The build quality of the touch screen looks cheap.

The design looks elegant in black and the white color makes it look prominent. It weighs 13.9 pouds and the dimensions are 18.3 inches by 12.7 inches by 16 inches. Because of its size it fits perfectly for most of the kitchen counter tops or in shelf.

The 2.0 Keurig model k350 takes less than a minute to heats up. It takes less than five minutes to brew a full pod. A full pod is 4 cups of freshly brewed delicious cups of coffee. Enough for a family of 4.

Pros:

  • Beautiful design
  • Fast, heats up under a minute, brews a full pod under 5 minutes
  • Brews 1-4 cups
  • Black and white touch screen display
  • 400+ variations of coffee, chai, mocha and even iced coffee
  • It can be used in high altitude areas

Cons:

  • Only works with Keurig 2.0 k-cups and k-carafes
  • You won’t be able to use a travel size bug
