Some of our favorite celeb’s were on hand for the 2017 Spirit Awards that were held yesterday afternoon in Santa Monica, California.
Scandal star, Kerry Washington was joined by her handsome husband Nnamdi Asomugha at the Spirit Awards. The couple posed it up with director, Ava DuVernay who is nominated for an Oscar for her movie 13th, along with actor David Oyelowo.
Kerry Washington presented Moonlight with the Robert Altman Award during the ceremony.
Orange Is The New Black Star, Danielle Brooks on the carpet for the awards show. Brooks recently talked about how people are reacting to her new modeling campaign with Lane Bryant.

Hidden Figures star, Taraji P. Henson presented the Best Supporting Male actor award during the ceremony.
Janelle Monae slayed on the carpet in white, donning a black-and-white striped Salvatore Ferragamo jacket over a zig-zag printed dress.
Moonlight was the big winner at the Spirit Awards, winning in all categories. Could Moonlight upset LaLaLand at the Oscars? We hope so!
